Family Game Night
• Jan. 23 at 6 p.m.
Bring a friend, family member, or just yourself to play board games. Light snacks will be provided. Signed food waiver required. All ages are welcome. Children under eight years old must be accompanied by an adult or older sibling.

Builders’ Club

Bring your creative building skills and come play. The library will have many building supplies, including LEGOs, K’Nex and more. All ages welcome.

Search & Find
• Jan. 21-25 (Dog Man theme)
Can you find all the hidden objects in the children’s room at the Lewisville Branch Library? Pick up an entry form and start looking. If you find all the objects, you win a prize. One entry per person. While supplies last.

Ultimate Dog Man Adventure
• Saturday, Jan. 25, at 2 p.m.
Join the Ultimate Dog Man Adventure at the Lewisville Branch Library. Are you ready to unleash your creativity and dive into the wacky world of Dog Man? Get ready for games, crafts and tail-wagging activities that will have you pawsitively barking with joy. Recommended for children 6-10 years old

This is a discussion of current and favorite reads with no pre-set reading list. (The group is recommended for dudes, but all are welcome.)

Easy Yoga
• Jan. 16 at noon
Help uplift your mind and body with yoga classes facilitated by local yoga instructor, Tracy O’Neill. Sponsored by the Friends of the Lewisville Library. Signed waiver required.

Color and Coffee
• Jan 10 and 24 at 10 a.m.
Color and Coffee is a morning to relax, color, be with others and enjoy a cup of coffee on the house. Coloring supplies and coffee will be available for participants.

Maternal Mental Health
• Saturday, Jan. 11, from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
This program delves into the intersection of mental health, pregnancy/postpartum care and social determinants of health, including discussion of perinatal mood disorders, as presented by Partners Health Management. Disasters – Financial Preparation and Recovery
• Monday, Jan. 13, at 5:30 p.m.
Equip yourself with the knowledge to navigate the financial challenges of disasters with Rhett Kyle of the North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center. Registration is required. To register, call the Lewisville Branch at 336-703-2940.

Witchy Washi & Whatnot Crafting
• Wednesday, Jan. 15 from 10-11:30 a.m.
The monthly Witchy Washy and Whatnot Crafting group is a great way to meet other crafters and learn to make all sorts of fun projects, many of which include the use of washi tape. Space and supplies are limited to first 12 registrants. Registration for each class opens one month prior to the class. Call the branch to reserve your spot.

Computer Training Bridge: Introduction to Google Docs
• Wednesday, Jan. 22, at 1 p.m.

“The Spirit of Harriet Tubman:” A one-woman play
• Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 6 p.m.
Join in for a reenactment of Harriet Tubman, the abolitionist who led approximately 70 enslaved people to freedom through the Underground Railroad, as performed by local artist Diane Faison. Lewisville Branch 2025 Reading Contest
This is a year-long reading contest that has two levels, beginner and aficionado, and participation qualifies you to be entered into a drawing for a prize. To learn more and to participate, pick up your reading log beginning Jan. 2 at the Lewisville Branch Library or on the library’s website at www.forsyth.cc/library/Lewisville. Good luck. Logs due by Saturday, Dec. 13. Winner announced on Monday, Dec. 15.
