Starting this week, all teachers from West will be teaching their online classes from their classrooms in school. As part of the return plan for schools, all teachers will be on campus to teach their classes through Zoom. With high school teachers returning this week, they will be the second wave of teachers coming back onto school grounds behind the elementary school teachers who returned to teach kindergarten and first grade in person earlier this month.

Teachers will be expected to wear masks in all public spaces and will only be allowed to remove them once they are in their own rooms without anyone with them. This is to ensure the continuation of the safe return plan in place by the WSFCS school board. Hopefully, students and parents alike can see something as simple as teacher’s Zoom backgrounds going from their homes to their classrooms as a sign of good things to come as we continue this school year.
