There are 184 new cases and six deaths reported today. Over the weekend, there were 353 new cases reported on Saturday, and 254 new cases and three deaths reported on Sunday. There have been 18,525 laboratory-confirmed cases and 206 deaths in Forsyth County. All cases reported by the Forsyth County Department of Public Health are Forsyth County residents. Of the 18,525, 15,133 are presumed recovered. The case count is subject to change throughout the day but will only be reported once per day in the daily briefing.
The public health director will provide a detailed briefing at 2 p.m. at the beginning of the next board of county commissioners meeting, which will be conducted remotely. The public can listen to and watch the meeting on WSTV-13 or go to https://www.cityofws.org/493/WSTV-13

• Saturday, Dec. 26 , at Winston-Salem Fairgrounds, 421 27th St NW, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
