Teresa Nifong Baldwin
Mrs. Teresa Nifong Baldwin, 72, of Winston-Salem, passed away on April 9, 2021, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home after an extended illness. Baldwin was born on Sept. 16, 1948, to the late Permanius “Pete” Monroe Nifong Jr. and Evelyn “Marie” Beshears Nifong. She enjoyed camping, buying and selling antiques, working in her yard, and she loved all kinds of wildlife and animals in general. She was loved by everyone who knew her, and she always put others needs ahead of her own, especially when it came to her family. She could always be counted on to lend a helping hand and did many kind deeds for others, some anonymously. Baldwin is survived by her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 53 years, Stephen Floyd Baldwin; daughter, April Baldwin Foster (Shane), of Clemmons; sister, Cheryl Nifong Miller, of Winston-Salem; two nieces, one nephew, and numerous cousins and extended family members. She was loved dearly and will be sorely missed. The family would like to say a special thank you to the entire staff at Trellis Supportive Care, who were so compassionate and took wonderful care of Baldwin. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at Westlawn Gardens of Memory, with Chaplain Rennie Adcock officiating. The family will receive friends after the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
