Philip Kingsley Kniejski

Philip Kingsley Kniejski passed away peacefully early Saturday morning surrounded by his loving family. He left permanently be among the angels who have always been by his side. He was born May 12, 1992, to Wini and Bob Kniejski. Kniejski was a special person who touched the lives of so many during his wonderful 28 years with his heart and incredible smile. What made him so special was he always gave you so much and expected nothing in return. Kniejski was an awesome guy and his spirit and soul will always be with his family. He attended the Children’s Center, Lowrance Middle School and graduated from Carter High School. After Carter, he enjoyed every day at The Enrichment Center. Each of these places enriched his life and his presence made them the special places they are. Kniejski enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest — whether grand adventures or the little things. He played Challenger baseball, rode horses and bicycles, loved his trips to the Outer Banks, painted, created arts and crafts, and floated in the pool. He always appreciated the opportunity to have fun and be a regular guy. His family is forever indebted to all his caregivers who enabled his ability to be that regular guy and live a rewarding life. Kniejski was the personification of goodness and wholesomeness and one had to love his spirit and soul. He captured you with his smile and always knew those who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jerome Kniejski, and maternal grandparents, Howard and Barbara Kingsley. Surviving are his parents, Bob and Wini Kniejski; brother, Brad Kniejski (Allison); sister, Jackie Kniejski; paternal grandmother, Joan Kniejski; aunt, Diane Kniejski (Joe Conway); and uncles, Philip Kniejski and Warren Kingsley (Jean). A public graveside service was held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family received friends at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel. Craig McCliment

Craig McCliment, dearly loved by family and friends alike, died suddenly and unexpectedly April 28 at the age of 61. His family is heartbroken, particularly wife Deborah Herko McCliment, daughter Anna Rae McCliment Hodge (Jordan), and granddaughter Avery Grace Hodge. A second grandchild is expected in July. McCliment was born Aug. 10, 1959, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Edward L. and Peggy McMurray McCliment and graduated from West Forsyth High School in Clemmons in 1977. In 1980, he launched Southern Accent Interiors, a painting and remodeling business that flourished until his death. Known for his perfectionism and hard work, McCliment had repeat customers clamoring for his attention; no one else would do. While he enjoyed water activities of all sorts, music, dancing, golf, gardening, cooking and entertaining — always with joy in his heart, a smile on his face, and laughter ringing out — it was family that mattered most to McCliment, especially his girls. Nothing made him happier than spending time with his precious Anna Rae and Avery and meeting their every food request. Delight was then sitting quietly on the porch with Debbie, Avery bouncing contentedly in his lap. McCliment is also survived by brothers James D. McCliment (Jean) and Brian D. McCliment; sister Lynn M. McCliment Broach (Preston); mother-in-law Judy H. Yarbrough; father-in-law Howard M. Herko (Marylou) brothers-in-law Danny J. Herko (Chris), Reg F. Yarbrough (Lisa), Tim J. Yarbrough (Love), Howie Herko (Terri) and Neil Herko (Shannon); and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Scott E. McCliment, and father-in-law Reginald F. Yarbrough. A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at Vogler and Sons Clemmons Chapel. The family received friends one hour prior to the service. The family appreciates the generous outpouring of food, flowers, calls, messages and personal visits from friends and family. In lieu of flowers, tributes may be made in honor of Craig McCliment to Trellis, as the organization was a blessing to Craig and Debbie during the recent illness of Craig’s brother.

Mary Sue Byer Reynolds

Mrs. Mary Sue Byer Reynolds, 90, passed away Friday, April 30, 2021. She was born in Allegany County in Virginia to the late John and Muriel Byer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles, and Steven Byer, and sister, Jean Morris. She is survived by her husband, E.B. Reynolds; daughters, Susan Fansler, Donna Brewer (Gene), and Brenda Reynolds (Eddie Wood); brother, Duane Byer (Nobel); sisters Louise Byer and Ellen Rose (Ed); grandchildren, Andrew Fansler (Kristen), Shanna Romano (Tony), Daniel Brewer (Mariya), Ashley Summerson (Jay), Bradley Beard (Jessica); great-grandchildren, Emma and Eleanor Fansler, Dallas and AnnaMarie Romano, Zachary and Ian Brewer, Nathan Lopez and Mackenzie Summerson, Hailey McClure, Taylor and Mason Beard. A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 3, 2021, at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons with Rev. Bob Richardson officiating. The family received friends following the service. Karen Denise Padgett Taylor

Mrs. Karen Denise Padgett Taylor, 70, of Pfafftown, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, April 26, 2021. She was born in Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee, on Jan. 12, 1951, to the late Gilmer and Loraine Wilson Padgett. Taylor spent her life serving her Lord by serving her community. She touched countless lives in serving her community for 27 years through community missions with Pilot Mountain Baptist Association. Taylor was a member of West Side Baptist, but cared deeply for all the congregations in the association. Her favorite ministries included the Annual Toy Store at Christmas for needy children, the State Fair Ministry for the workers, the Prison Ministry and the Missionary House Ministry.

In addition to her parents, Taylor is preceded in death by sisters, Betty Hooks and Cheryl Brooks. Surviving is her husband, Jerry Taylor; children, Susan Hood (John), Mark Taylor (Kari), Stephanie Taylor, and Krista Hopkins (Tim); grandchildren, Thomas and Phoenix Hood, Chelsea and Christopher Taylor, Tyson Johnson, Paul Miller, and Scott Hopkins; beloved recipient of her care, Noah Hooks; sisters, Sandra Elliot and Beverly Stevens; and brother, Gilmer Thomas Padgett Jr.

A celebration of life for Taylor will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at College Park Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Ramon Smith, Rev. Christa Warise, Rev. Will Watson and Rev.
