The American Legion Post 522 of Lewisville will again lead a Memorial Day salute on Monday, May 26, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Guest speaker will be Col. Phil Bradley. Memorial flags will be presented to the widows or daughters of the late John Faxon Becker, James “Bob” Hammons, John Johnson and Ronald E. Wrights.
Col. Bradley and Post Auxiliary president Liz Burdette will place memorial wreaths at the Shallowford Square veterans memorial. The Pledge of Allegiance will be led by Jacob Creecy.
