Local students graduate from Furman University
GREENVILLE, S.C. — Furman University President Elizabeth Davis presided over the class of 2021 commencement exercises, which took place Saturday, May 8, at Paladin Stadium on campus. The class includes 615, with more than 40% graduating with honors.
The following local students have graduated from the university:
• Zack Mikat, of Clemmons, received a bachelor of arts degree in politics and international affairs
• Matthew Sides, of Lewisville, received a bachelor of arts in communication studies
