The WS/FCS Transportation Team is reminding parents the deadline for requesting a new bus stop or for making changes to a current bus stop for the upcoming school year is Monday, July 19. Parents should call their child’s school and make the request or changes by the end of the day on Monday, July 19. Meeting this deadline ensures transportation has enough time to route its buses and plan all stops by the first day of school. While requests can be made after July 19, a routing change and new stop assignment may not be ready for students by the first day of school, which is Monday, Aug. 23.

Please remember this advisory is only for new stop requests, or for those wishing to change a current stop. If there is no change needed, parents do not need to make another request.

Parents are also reminded that if they have moved, or have a new address, please make sure their child’s school has that information. Parents should be prepared to show proof of address. If parents have questions, they are encouraged to call their child’s school.
