Children’s events
Be Wild NC: Native Wildlife
Join in on Zoom at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27, as Be Wild NC shows some of the amazing animals found in North Carolina. This program delves into the biology and ecology behind our local wildlife and its vital importance to our ecosystem. Some tips and tricks will be discussed for safely cohabitating with these crazy creatures. Open to all ages.
NC Zoo: Backyard Buddies
On Zoom at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 28, explore what native species can be found in North Carolina and why they are important to the overall health of our state. Presented by the North Carolina Zoo.
Virtual Storytime
The Clemmons Branch Library presents an all-ages story time each Thursday at 10:30 a.m. on Zoom.
Mini Clay Animals
Join in on Zoom at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 29, for a virtual program and make mini animals out of air dry clay while playing a game of animal trivia. A limited number of supply kits will be available for pickup at the Clemmons Branch.
Adult events
On Tuesday, July 27, at 6:30 p.m. put your knowledge of tall tales, folklore and myths to the test in a virtual game of trivia hosted by the Clemmons Branch Library on Zoom. Individuals and groups of all ages are welcome.
