It is officially the last quarter of the school year and spring break is right around the corner. With a cold start to the week, the shorts are gone and the jackets are back on. There are some exciting things happening at West. Let’s take a peek.

Our Drama Department has raised the bar once again by putting on “Legally Blonde the Musical.” The Titans have prepared for months and the time has finally come. The shows will take place in the APAC (Anderson Performing Arts Center), on March 31, April 1 and April 2. Tickets are $10, free for WSFCS employees. To the cast, break a leg, and to everyone else, come out to support the Titans.

Everyone can just imagine a bunch of teenagers on April Fool’s Day. To make the teacher’s day a little better the PTSA Hospitality Committee is hosting a special dessert and hot beverages event for staff during lunches. The 2022-2023 school year is not too far away. This being said, students who registered for courses that require supplemental forms, please turn these in to Student Services right away. These forms may be needed for study seminar, early graduation, or service to school and community. Hard copies are in Student Services or on the WSFCS webpage.

If you have school spirit and some cheerleading skills this is for you:

West Forsyth’s cheerleading team has announced tryouts and other important dates.

Tryouts will be May 9-12 and stunt open workshops for current students will be April 19 and May 3 from 4-6 p.m. in Simpson Gym. There are three parent/athlete interest meetings but attendance is only required for one.
