Historic Bethabara Park has some unique, family-friendly events coming up this summer.
On Saturday, July 9, during the Hands-on-History Day event, the park will offer the public a chance to see craftsmen at work. On that day, the sights, sounds and smells of the town’s past will be vividly brought to life. So, come on out to see and taste what’s cooking!
On Saturday, Aug. 6, during the Indigenous Peoples and Moravians: A Celebration of Cultures event, members of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians will be onsite sharing their culture, history and crafts. There will also be Native American artifacts on display, special tours and puppet shows.
