Congratulations are in order for Jim Buice, who so ably covers local government and all the town council meetings in Clemmons, Lewisville and Bermuda Run for the Courier in additional to his witty and observant monthly columns and insightful and engaging feature stories.

Buice received two awards Thursday night from NCPA for editorial writing in Divison A (smaller circulation newspapers).

He won second place in news feature writing for his story about preserving the Shallow Ford farm property, which was published in April 2021 and got another second place for profile features for his story about Lewisville Town Clerk Joyce Walker, which was published in December 2021.

The Courier is thankful and grateful for Buice’s talents, time and dedication to our publication and to the Clemmons community and surrounding area.
