A Lewisville man has been charged with robbing a bank and two convenience stores last week in Lewisville.
The suspect, Jason Brant Henderson, 36, of 6505 LaGrande Place Drive, has been charged with the Feb. 6 robbery of Wells Fargo Bank, the Jan. 31 robbery of ESTOP at 130 Lewisville-Clemmons Road and of the Feb. 1 robbery at Four Brothers convenience store at 6351 Shallowford Road.
The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office arrested Henderson on Feb. 8 without incident.
Deputies had photos from the bank heist of a man approaching the bank putting on a dark tobaggan. That robbery happened Monday at 4:35 p.m. The robber left on foot, and nearby Lewisville Elementary School was placed on lockdown while deputies searched the vicinity and the school for the suspect. School children had already left for the day.
The suspect entered the bank, demanded money, and fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect wass described as a white male, in his 30’s, wearing dark clothing, a black toboggan and dark sunglasses.
Crimestoppers had broadcast the suspect’s photos taken by the bank cameras while seeking help identifying the robbery.
Henderson is being held in the Forsyth County Law Enfrocement Detention Center under a $120,000.00 secured bond with a Preliminary Hearing scheduled for Feb. 23.
