Marlon L. Johnson

Marlon L. Johnson, 79 of Clemmons passed into our Lord’s more immediate presence on Feb. 17, 2023. He was a member of Clemmons First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Betsy; son Timothy H. Johnson (Debra); grandsons Benjamin L. Johnson, Samuel Johnson (Brooke); great-grandsons, Bramley and Braylen Johnson; sisters Imogene Taylor, Sharon Harrison and Cynthia Johnson; brother Paul H. Johnson and numerous nephews and nieces.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, 2023, at Salem Funeral Home, located 2951 Reynolda Road in Winston-Salem  with Pastor David Pace and Pastor Charles Harmon officiating. There will be a 30-minute visitation just prior to the service. Interment will be at Forsyth Memorial Park, 3771 Yadkinville Road, Winston-Salem.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Marlon may be made to Clemmons First Baptist Church, or Winston-Salem Rescue Mission or Cancer Services of Winston-Salem.
