Margaret “Maggie” Lee Owen and 2nd Lt Nicholas Patrick Peduto USMC were married on June 10, 2017 at On the Windfall in Lansing, NC. Don Fromal, uncle of the groom officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Karen and Lindsay Owen of Clemmons. Maggie received BS degrees in accounting and finance and graduated sum cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is the granddaughter of Tommy and Loretta Owen of Lexington and the late R. Hunter Lane and Mildred Lane Morris. Maggie wore an heirloom wedding dress that both her grandmother and mother each wore in their wedding.

The groom is the son of Sandi Peduto of Lewisville. Nick received a BS degree in construction management, engineering technology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. In May he was commissioned into the United States Marine Corps as a Second Lieutenant.

The couple are both graduates of West Forsyth High School.

The maid of honor was Kristen Hauser and the bridesmaid was Katelyn Johnson both of Clemmons. The best man was Cpl. Alex Bauer USMC and the groomsman was Zack Bodford both of Lewisville. Olivia Owen, niece of the bride was the flower girl.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the venue. Music for the reception was performed by the Special Occasion Band which the bride’s father and the groom’s uncle are members. The couple will live in Quantico, VA until Nick completes his training at The Basic School.
