CLEMMONS — The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office is hosting the first-ever K9s & Coffee event on Sept. 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons.
K9s & Coffee aims to build community relationships and highlight what the K9 unit does throughout the year.
The event will be at the Tanglewood Park Concert Shell area, located at 4061 Clemmons Road in Clemmons. It will consist of live demonstrations, exhibitors from local nonprofits and opportunities for interaction with all of the K9 teams.
K9s & Coffee is a family-friendly event. No personal pets are allowed on the premises due to safety concerns.
Event exhibitors include Old Town Veterinary Hospital, Forsyth Humane Society, Elite Canine’s Comfort Dog Team, and FCSO’s Animal Services Division. Fur-Ever Friends of NC and Tanglewood Park are sponsoring the event, so it is free to attend.
In addition, two local food trucks, the Dapper Bean and DonutNV will be on-site throughout the event to provide sweets and coffee for purchase.
