The North Carolina Sons of The American Revolution, Winston-Salem Bethabara Chapter, sponsored a grave-marking and wreath-laying ceremony for War of Independence Patriot Jonathan Nichols Tull at the historic Concord Methodist Church Cemetery in Lewisville on Sept. 10.
Tull served during the American Revolution in the Rowan County Militia. The Lewisville Cemetery also serves as the final resting place for several additional War of Independence Patriots.
In attendance were SAR Bethabara Chapter Compatriots, Daughter of American Revolution members and numerous guests and descendants of Hull as well as several representatives from the NCSSAR Color Guard.
