Henry “Hank” Anthony Metzger, 90, passed away peacefully at his daughter’s home on Dec. 19, 2023, with all his children and longtime friend by his side. He was born in Mansfield, Ohio, on April 8, 1933, the son of Henry Abraham Metzger and Mary Barbara (Prion) Metzger. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Henrietta Reed and Viola Tellez.

He is survived by his three children, Mark Metzger (Stephanie), Lisa Osteen (Sam), and Pamela Vick-Moore (Tripp), grandchildren Taylor Osteen (Danielle), AnnMarie Elliott (Dustin), Jessica Vick, David Vick, Matthew Moore and great-grandchild Isabella Osteen. He is also survived by his sister Shirley Genton (Daryll) and niece Darla Morgan (Tom), his lifelong friend and the mother of his children, Patricia Metzger, and his estranged spouse, Janet Scruggs.
