CLEMMONS — During February, the village of Clemmons sponsors a month-long campaign of Neighbors Helping Neighbors — an educational and collection campaign for the Clemmons Food Pantry.
On Saturday, Feb. 24, a celebration will be held at the Clemmons Food Pantry located at 2660 Neudorf Road from 1-3 p.m.
The theme of the day, “We Choo-Choo-Choose to help our community” reflects one of the main attractions, a ride on the Triad Express kid’s train. Rides will be available in exchange for donated non-perishable foods or monetary donations for the pantry.
Everyone is invited to tour the facility, as well as explore a wide variety of volunteer opportunities. Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Clemmons community police officers will be on hand for a meet and greet. Kaveman Dogs and SnowBiz of Mocksville will also be available for purchase.
