CLEMMONS — Clemmons is seeking input for the 2026-2035 State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) Development Plan.
STIP is the evolving 10-year financial plan for funding and constructing transportation projects in North Carolina. The points assigned will impact the funding decisions for these projects.
There is currently one project within the village of Clemmons. Comment and votes will give the Clemmons project a better chance at competing for funding in the region-wide process.
The project is described as: Project H230557: (west to east) From the Bermuda Run roundabout to Harper Rd to accommodate bike lanes and sidewalks, and Widen existing roadway to a 3-lane section with bike lanes and sidewalks from Harper Road to Lewisville-Clemmons Road / Middlebrook Drive.
