The curtains go up next week on West Forsyth High’s student performance of the popular musical “Hairspray.” Shows are March 22 and 23 at 7:00 p.m. and March 24 at 2:00 p.m. at the school’s Anderson Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $10 at the door. The show includes a massive cast of performers and singers.
Among the major parts are Meghan Hoffman as Tracy, Grayson Fulp as Edna, Grace Wall as Wilber, Molly Olson ass Penny, Sophie Priest as Prudy and Evan Souza as Corny. Fulp has the difficult role of playing a portly mother, just as John Travolta in the movie role. For that, he wears a plump suit.
