Lewisville Historical Society hosts ‘A Tale of Two Journeys’

The Lewisville Historical Society invites the public to its Sept. 9, membership meeting at 6 p.m. at the Mary Alice Warren Community Center for a program on “A Tale of Two Journeys” the fascinating story about two 500 mile walks, 255 years apart.

Katherine Watts, Martha Manning and Virginia Hart will share their experiences as they spent a month reenacting the 1766 walk through the back country by Moravian girls from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania to Bethabara, North Carolina.
