The Lewisville Historical Society invites the public to its Nov. 18 Membership Meeting at 6 p.m. at the Mary Alice Warren Community Center, 7632 Warren Park Drive, Lewisville, for a program entitled, “The Yadkin River: A Watershed of History,” presented by local author, Randell Jones.

Jones will tell the stories of how the Yadkin River influenced history and helped to make us who we are in the Yadkin River Valley. Jones will also be selling his new book, the second edition of In the Footsteps of Daniel Boone, featuring 330 photographs
