Village Point Drive

The connector roadway opened last fall was essential for Novant Hospital, Morgan Elementary School and the Village Point area as a whole. The project was completed $576,419 UNDER the appropriated $3.8 million dollar funding after the final bills were paid and the project officially closed by the Village staff recently. I would like to thank Representative Donny Lambeth and Novant’s David Park for their efforts in funding the project. Representative Lambeth secured $1.9 million funding from the state and David Park secured $1.9 million in private funding from Novant Health. It is a perfect example of the Clemmons Council working with the private sector and the state to improve our transportation infrastructure at NO COST to the Village of Clemmons. This was an extremely important project for immediate access to Novant Hospital directly from Lewisville-Clemmons Road when seconds count!
