CLEMMONS — Clemmons First Baptist Church Family Life Center will be the site of a free concert full of holiday cheer on Sunday.

The Salem Swing Band will be performing at 3 p.m.

“Enjoy some holiday time with your Salem Swing Band,” an event release promised. “Lots of your favorite sacred and secular holiday songs, all in a swing style. Featuring SSB vocalist Mignon Dobbins singing Ella Fitzgerald and other classic swing hits. Music from the ‘Nutcracker,’ ‘The Grinch,’ ‘Peanuts,’ and a special rendition of ‘I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus’ by our own SSB trombonist, Steven Sherrill. ‘Santa Baby,’ ‘Silent Night,’ ‘Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,’ ‘Deck the Halls,’ and more.”

While it is a free concert, donations are accepted.
