Long-Brookshire couple marry at Duke

Lauren Livingston Long of Chapel Hill and Paul Chadwick Brookshire of Clemmons were married on August 24, 2013 at Sarah P. Duke Gardens in Durham. Kris Weiss officiated the 6 pm nuptials.
The bride is the daughter of Linda W. Long of Chapel Hill and Henry T. Long of Atlanta, GA. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Cyril C. Waters of Roanoke Rapids.
The bride is a graduate of UNC-Greensboro with a Bachelor
of Science in Nursing. She is currently attending UNC-Chapel Hill seeking her Masters in Nursing. She is currently employed at Duke University Hospital in the Pediatric Intensive
Care Unit.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Henry Brookshire III of Clemmons. His grandfather is Mr. William Henry Brookshire, Jr. of Rock Hill, SC.
The groom is a graduate of UNC-Greensboro with a Bachelor
of Arts in Communication. He is currently employed with Northwood Ravin as a Leasing Professional.
The matron of honor was Whitney Waters Long of Chapel Hill. The bridesmaids were Rebecca Clarke Baker of Long Island City, NY; Juliet Chapman Band of Chapel Hill, Ella Burton-Cengiz of Brooklyn, NY; Anne Elizabeth Carter of Fuquay Varina, and Ashleigh Shambley Roby of Greensboro.
The bride attendants were Eleanor Eugenie Davis, Frances Hannah Davis and Katherine Belle Davis. The flower girl was Carson Elizabeth Story of Mebane, NC.
The best man was William Henry Brookshire, IV of Clemmons.
The groomsmen were Christopher Lee Benton of King, Michael Emery Bolick of Greensboro and Leonard Darlington
Long II of Chapel Hill,. The ring bearers were Benjamin Boyd Waters of Oxford and Hunter Harrison Story of Mebane.
Wedding music was performed by Arioso Strings.
The reception was held at the Sarah P. Duke Gardens Hall with music performed by the Shakedown Band of Raleigh.
The couple plan to honeymoon this December in Antigua and will reside in Carborro.
