Betty Redding Dull

Mrs. Betty Redding Dull, 89, of Lewisville, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018, at her home. She was born in Forsyth County on Nov. 2, 1929, to the late Floyd and Ellen Bean Redding. Mrs. Dull was a member of Shiloh Lutheran Church and former member of the Lewisville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She retired from the W-S Forsyth County Schools with 30 years of service. Preceding her in death were six brothers, Henderson Redding, Stokes Redding, Daniel Redding, Monroe Redding, Memory Redding, and Harold Redding; four sisters, Mary Redding, Charity Hassell, Catherine Craver, and Blanche Redding; and a daughter-in-law, Bette F. Dull. Surviving is her husband of 71 years, Mayo C. Dull; two sons, Terry Dull and Phillip Dull and wife, Amanda all of Lewisville; also surviving is a granddaughter, Chelsea E. Dull. A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at Shiloh Lutheran Church Cemetery with Rev. Dr. John F. Beeg officiating. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel. Nancy Haynes Gregg

Nancy Haynes Gregg, 86, of Clemmons passed away Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018, at Brookstone. She was born Aug. 7, 1932, in Wilkes County to Paul Homer and Clara Wiles Haynes. Nancy was retired from the W-S Forsyth County School System after many years of service. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Haynes, and by two sisters, Betty Hall and Janet Lowder. Surviving are two sons, Stephen Brian Gregg (Melissa White) of Clemmons and William Thomas (Tommy) Gregg (Tonya) of Sharpsburg, Ga.; three grandchildren, Samantha Gregg, Jordan Gregg and Rachel Gregg; and by two sisters, Marilyn Walklett and Alece Key, both of Florida. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018, at Frank Vogler and Sons Clemmons Chapel. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Barbara Martin Jarvis

Barbara Martin Jarvis, 85, of Clemmons, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born Jan. 16, 1933, in Union County to James Hoyt and Dora Alice Martin. She was a member of Harmony Grove United Methodist Church. She began her nursing career working for Baptist Hospital from 1955-1968. She later was an administrator with the MediCenter from 1968-1971. Barbara went to work at Medical Park Hospital from 1971-1974 and then became the director of nursing at the North Carolina Baptist Home from 1974-1985. She was awarded her American Red Cross Pin where she served for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, John Raymond Jarvis, Sr. and by five brothers and three sisters. Surviving are her son, John R. Jarvis, Jr. (Vickie); four grandchildren, John Daniel (Danny) Jarvis, Catherine (Catie) Elizabeth Jarvis, Laura Grannaman Lamb (Aaron), Katie Grannaman Ross (Daniel); and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Harmony Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Greg Freeman officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Frank Vogler and Sons Clemmons Chapel.

 

Craig Michael Juleff

Craig Michael Juleff, 64, of Clemmons, passed away in the Comprehensive Cancer Center at Wake Forest Baptist Health on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018. He was born on June 3, 1954, to Norma Schmidt Juleff and Chalmers J. Juleff in Detroit, Mich. Craig was a member at St. John Lutheran Church and attended its affiliated school in Rochester, Mich. He was a member of Rochester High School’s 1972 graduating class. After moving to North Carolina, he was employed by Lowe’s Home Improvement where he worked in sales. His creative, adventurous nature was seen in his love of theater, photography and camping. Craig will be remembered as a good friend who exuded empathy and fun. He was preceded in death by his father, Chalmers J. “Jim” Juleff. Surviving are the love of his life, Wendy Andrews; mother, Norma Juleff; brothers, Randall Juleff and Brian Juleff (Gail); niece and nephews, Lauren Menn (Henry), Nathan Juleff and Devin Juleff; great nephew and niece, Silas and Stella Creel; step children, Katie Smith (Shad) and Corey Andrews; and grandchildren, Brody, Briar and Finn Smith. A memorial service was held Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018 at 4 p.m. at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek chapel with Rev. Byron Barker officiating. Harry Lee Wrights

Mr. Harry Lee Wrights, 86, of Lewisville, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018, at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Wrights was born Sept. 21, 1932, in Forsyth County to William and Paralea Moser Wrights. He was a member of Peace Haven Baptist Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean War. He enjoyed deer hunting and was an avid reader. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wrights was preceded in death by a son, Roger Lee Wrights; and siblings, Lucille Wood, William Henry Wrights, Jr., Roy F. Wrights, Lloyd Wrights, Nancy Kwall, Ronald Eugene Wrights, and Judy Bowden. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Bonnie Stewart Wrights; four children, Harry William “Billy” (Rhonda) Wrights, Karen Wrights (William) Spease, Bonita Wrights Martin, and Deborah Wrights (Terry) Wood; grandchildren, Annie (David) Gill, Kelcy (James) Taylor, Amber (Brad) Hutchens, Autumn Rogers, Richard (Rebekah) Spease, John (Taylor) Spease, Madison (Donnie) Hardy, Ethan Wood; great-grandchildren, Bayleigh, Mackenzie, Grace, Skylar, Dylan, Kadyn, Gaybriel, Alexis, William, and Elizabeth; one sister, Onie Wrights McVay; one brother, Allen (Dorothy) Wrights; and several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. A funeral service was conducted Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018, at 1 p.m. at Peace Haven Baptist Church, 2200 Boogerswamp Road in Yadkinville with Dr. Jon Bowman and Rev. George Evans officiating. Burial followed at Forsyth Memorial Park with full military honors provided by VFW Memorial Honor Guard and the National Guard Honor Guard.
