The 2019 annual bulk item pickup will be the week of March 25 for the east side of Clemmons. During the event, each household will receive one pickup. This is for items that are too large for the trash carts. No bags of trash will be collected.
Bulk pickup is for single family residential areas only. Only one trip is made through your neighborhood. Items must be at curbside (not in the road) by 7 a.m. on the Monday of the week you are scheduled for pickup.
Bulk items that can be picked up:
• Furniture — indoor and lawn
• Toilets
• Hot water heaters
• Mattresses
• Grills (no tanks)
• Bikes
• Appliances — large and small
• Toys
• Toilets

Bulk items that cannot be picked up:
• Glass
• Computers
• TV’s
• Cars
• Tires, batteries or vehicle parts
• Lawn mowers, yard waste or propane tanks
• Metal drums
• Construction debris
• Concrete and asphalt
• Glass, windows and doors
• Carpet
• Paint or liquids of any kind
• Hazardous material
