CLEMMONS — Novant Health is pleased to bring orthopedics, sports medicine, surgery, rehabilitation and sports performance all under one roof in the new Clemmons Surgical Plaza, located at 7210 Village Medical Circle, in Clemmons.
The public and media are invited to tour the facility during an open house ribbon-cutting event Tuesday, Sept. 24, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Conveniently located on the campus of Novant Health Clemmons Medical Center, the state-of-the-art facility will provide the latest in diagnostic services, orthopedic and sports medicine treatment, sports performance and rehabilitation along with an outpatient surgery center.
“We are very excited about the opening of the Clemmons Surgical Plaza,” said Dr. John Mann, president and chief operating officer of Novant Health Clemmons Medical Center. “This new facility allows patients to access orthopedic and rehabilitation services at a single location while also obtaining their outpatient surgical services in the same building. In addition, the development of this space will also allow us to introduce new surgical specialties to the campus in Clemmons and facilitate the expansion of surgical offerings in Clemmons Medical Center sometime next year.”
Chad Setliff, president and chief operating officer of Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center and the greater Winston-Salem market leader, added: “We are excited to see the continued growth of the Novant Health Clemmons Medical Center campus. Just like our hospital design, the new Clemmons Surgical Plaza was truly designed to provide a remarkable patient experience. Everything from diagnostic services, to surgery and rehab, to sports performance is all right here.”

The freestanding, multispecialty outpatient surgery center will feature two operating rooms and a procedure room for orthopedic surgery. Some urologic, ophthalmologic and general surgeries will also be performed at this location. For more information or to make an appointment, call 336-893-3100.
