Cadets and students awarded gold stars for spring 2019 semester

CHARLESTON, S.C. — Gold stars were awarded to cadets and students at The Citadel who achieved a 3.7 grade point average or higher in the fall 2018 semester. Cadets and students who achieve gold star recognition are also placed on The Citadel’s dean’s list.

Local cadets and students who earned gold stars are:

• Grant Daniel of Clemmons

• Troy Smith of Lewisville

Boston University graduate

Boston, Massachusetts — Boston University awarded academic degrees to 2,106 students in September 2019. Among the graduates was Marc Fioravanti, of Clemmons, who received a master’s degree in criminal justice.
