Local students named to dean’s list at Pensacola Christian

PENSACOLA, FLORIDA — The following local students were named to the dean’s list by Dr. Troy Shoemaker, president of Pensacola Christian College, for academic achievement during the 2019 fall semester:

• Allie Elling of Mocksville

• Emma Kinzel of Clemmons

• William Kinzel of Clemmons

• Stephen Sims of Advance

• Nicolas Talbert of Advance

Students named on the dean’s list earned a semester grade point average of 3.00 or higher.

Yount makes dean’s list

William Jordan Yount, of Clemmons and a freshman at Appalachian State University, made the dean’s list for the 2019 fall semester. He is majoring in accounting.

He is the son of Jim and Sharon Yount of Clemmons.
