Mrs. Eleanor F. Chadzutko, 80, of Clemmons, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014, at Trinity Glen in Winston Salem. Eleanor was born in Queens, NY on September 22, 1933, a daughter to the late Henry Tejchman and Frances Poturalski Tejchamn. On May 9, 1953 she married the love of her life, Vincent J. Chadzutko. She is a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and a former member of Holy Cross RC Church in Maspeth, NY; she was a volunteer in the church and school for 25 years serving any way she was needed. Eleanor was employed with Evergreen in New York City for 20 plus years until retirement. She loved everything the City had to offer from a cultural aspect and loved her time there. Eleanor also loved to read and cook. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be truly missed. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Vincent J. Chadzutko of the home; son, Thomas C. Chadzutko and his wife, Moira of Bayshore, NY, and two grandchildren, Christopher T. Chadzutko and Megan A. Chadzutko; son, Michael V. Chadzutko and his wife, Patricia D. of Clemmons, two granddaughters, Michelle C. Frankie and her husband, Jason M. of Rosedale, MD and great grandson, Tristan M. Frankie, and Melissa A. Chadzutko of Clemmons; and a sister, Dorothy Lewandowski of Scottsdale, AZ. A funeral mass was held Tuesday, June 3rd at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Michael officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at her home in New York. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Senior Services, 2895 Shore Fair Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
